Do I need any fragrance experience?
Not at all. Our workshops are designed for beginners and fragrance enthusiasts alike. Our perfumers will guide you through every step of the creative process.
What materials will I be working with?
You'll have access to over 50 carefully curated, professional-grade perfume materials used in fine fragrance creation. Our collection includes both natural botanicals and high-quality aroma molecules sourced from respected fragrance suppliers around the world, allowing you to create a fragrance with the depth, balance, and longevity of a fine perfume.
Will I take my perfume home?
Yes. You'll leave with your own handcrafted 30ml Eau de Parfum, beautifully bottled and labelled. A 50ml upgrade is also available.
Can I reorder my fragrance?
Absolutely. Your unique fragrance formula will be securely archived, allowing you to reorder your personalised perfume whenever you wish.
How long is the workshop?
The experience lasts approximately 3 hours, giving you plenty of time to explore, experiment, and refine your fragrance.
How many people will be in each workshop?
To ensure a relaxed and personalised experience, our workshops are conducted in small groups, allowing each guest to receive individual guidance throughout the fragrance creation process.
Is there a minimum age requirement?
Guests aged 15 years and over are welcome to attend our workshops independently.
Guests under the age of 15 are welcome when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the workshop.
Do you host bridal showers, birthdays, and private events?
Yes. We offer private fragrance experiences for birthdays, bridal showers, corporate team building, hens celebrations, and other special occasions.
Private events can be hosted at our Adelaide atelier or at your preferred venue. Please contact us to discuss your event and create a tailored experience.
Do you offer gift cards?
Yes. BOHSEM Gift Cards are available and make a thoughtful gift for fragrance lovers and anyone looking for a truly personal experience.
What if I need to reschedule my booking?
Workshop bookings are non-refundable. However, you may reschedule your booking once by contacting us at least 72 hours before your scheduled workshop.
Requests made within 72 hours of your booking, or failure to attend without notice, cannot be refunded or rescheduled.

Can I wear perfume to the workshop?
We recommend arriving without wearing perfume or heavily scented products, as this allows you to evaluate fragrance materials more accurately and enjoy the blending experience to its fullest.
Can we bring or consume alcohol during the workshop?
No. We do not serve alcohol, and BYO alcohol is not permitted in the studio.
As perfume creation relies heavily on your sense of smell, to help you get the best experience from your session, we also recommend avoiding alcohol before your workshop. Alcohol can temporarily affect your sense of smell and make it more difficult to properly experience and evaluate fragrance materials.
Complimentary spring water and tea are provided throughout the session.
